Yet Another Dazzler

This costume was so insane. HOURS of gluing these millions of little gems to my belt, wrist snaps, choker, and.... the bane of my existence, the old school rollerskates. It was such a blast. For the next two days after I wore the costume I was "pooing" gems everywhere. They were on my clothes, in my hair, on my suitcase, everytime I stood up there were gems on my seat, or trailing behind me for miles. We took a long walk around vancouver and on the way back we just followed the gems LOL

I so badly wanted to run into someone dressed as Edward just so I could walk up to him and say as snarky as possible "I sparkle more than you do. "

The girls at Oh Snap were awesome. I had the hardware with me to take the wheels on the skates on and off so just before the shoot they sat me down and I put the wheels back on.

Now, I have no balance. At all. None, zero, ziltch. They were laughing saying it would be funny if they had to roll me everywhere... While they were laughing they were facing away from me and I stood up for the first time. Not only were we on these nice bricks, but the ground was on a downward slant. I stood up, then suddenly I was on my ass. But not before the entire escalator of people and all the nice business guys outside of starbucks watched me behave like a cartoon character because I ran backwards in place for a few seconds before my legs just gave out and I crash landed on my butt. It was freaking hilarious.

The girls wouldn't let me stand on my own after that, and they just pulled me in spot to all the shoot areas HAHA. Every photo I am leaning up against something or clinging to a ledge for dear life while trying to make it look natural. o.o It was an absolute blast!

So the photos may not have been as creative as they wanted, but at least we all got out of there with nothing more than a sore butt
