These are now a part of the Auction contest! The winner will receive ONE set of earrings and ONE Keychain or Cell Charm!

I will do four sets total!

Bidding to start at $5!

Shipping for North America is $4
Rest of the world...note me and I will see if I can get an estimate.

I have known and been related to a lot of women with breast cancer, and am high risk myself now that we've found seven (possibly nine) tumors in my chest. All benign, so for now I'm fine ^^

Every year I try in one way or another to donate to cancer research and this year I am just too broke, so instead I'm doing this.

The above charms are all for sale. $2 each alone, an extra 50 cents each if you a cell hanger, keychain, etc, and $1 for shipping (for each order, not each charm)

I take paypal, and money orders ^^

$2, the cost of every charm, will go right to cancer research. I will either donate to someone who is doing the Weekend to end Breast Cancer, Run for the Cure, etc.

Each charm is made with pink sculpey, and painted with a shiny gloss.

If you are interested, please note me ^^

(Cheesy moment) Together we can make a difference!

And a BIG thank you to:

Derkach Manufacturing for printing the spiffy labels onto the boxes the charms are being packaged in

:iconirikaru: for being the first person to purchase a Think Pink charm and a Down Syndrome charm :D

These are lovely, I was going to ask are they made from polymer clay, but then I scrolled up, I read the story first and obviously didn't see that part.
There is nothing cheesy about it; Together we do make a differance.
Thankfully noone in my family has been diagnosed with breast cancer. (I've had a few panic attacks but it turned out to be mastitus(sp?))

I hope you continue the way you are going and nothing develops

I want one! It'll have to wait until after all my planning for this month (my wedding), but I really do want one! I actually have a lump and I had it checked a few years ago and they said it would be fine as long as it didn't start hurting. Well, guess what...it started hurting a few months ago. Darn doctors. Anyways, I'll let you know when I can actually devote some time and money (b/c I plan on getting some for the women in my family). More power to you and I'm glad there are people like you in the world making it a better place. <~~~I know, sappy, but I had to XP

aw I think I actually teared up a little there!!
And don't worry too much! When I found my first lump I went to the doctor right away, she did the exam and then asked me "which one did you find?" I was like WHA?? She found seven the first day, and sent me for an ultra sound. They did the ultrasound on the largest one and told me it was fine, and that I have to go back for testing every few months. So there are no problems thus far, turns out it's a disease that something like 60% of women have, and it's so common that they stopped labelling it as a disease (so you probably have it too) oh yah, my point! lol. Anyways, mine have always hurt, sometimes VERY much, and they still tell me I'm fine. So don't worry! And congratulations on your wedding!! :D

Nicely done.

I hope that you never have to suffer with such a disease. I've already lost too many loved ones to cancer of various types.

Cheesy moment perhaps, but it's very true. There have been many advances in cancer research in the past 10 years. Thanks in a great part to efforts like this to keep it in the forefront of the public mind, to keep donations and efforts flowing, and to strive to educate people about the risk factors and the benefit of early detection.
