Lazy Sunday

Oh Radius, you're a big suck and that's why I love you.

Both the hubby and I love to read, and while we were staying up far too late into the night reading this picture popped into my head.

One day, I will get the story of these two out there (probably sometime after I finish writing the third Corporeal Daughters book...Probably...) just so I can explain "the Field".

I grew up on an ass ton of acreage, and was surrounded by fields which were surrounded by mountains. (Hay fields, no less. Which explains my awful hay fever. Summers on the farm? Ooooooh they were like torture!)

I always thought it would be lovely (yes, lovely. shut up) if there were a giant grassy field with one tree smack in the middle of it. This was the complete image of "calm" and "peace" to me. This image has cemented itself in my brain, so when Band and Radius need a demon-drama-danger-free zone, they go there.

And I forgot to include the title of Radius' book. He's reading, "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Which is probably why he stopped and is instead reading Bandeau's "Wuthering Heights"...

Don't worry Rade...I could never get into LotR either. It's not your fault.
